Wondering if any of you guys are running a Suncoast transmission and any parts there of ...

Have the need to do some upgrading and waffling between ATS and Suncoast ... But leaning to Suncoast ... .

Any opinions ???

Mac

a buddy of mine has the whole seput on 01 d/a combo. running about 435 at rear wheels and it is holding great, shifts correctly, runs smooth. before the build he could put it in limp mode way to easily. pm me and i'll hook you up with him, though he is probably lurking in the shadows here.

Could be mistaken but your from same area .....

What I'm looking for I guess is "long term" HP holding reliability with-in the brands .....

I have a Suncoast race version transmission in my lil drag truck. Very happy with it since it lowered my time a third of a second and put four mph on the top end. I'm using their triple surface converter which I credit for a lot of the results we have enjoyed.

We sold the Suncoast product before I ever used their transmission in my race truck. Going to their transmission in the drag truck was a no brainer since the Suncoast products were compiling a superior track record in customers trucks.

The company I work for does a TON of SunCoast business. They are a great company to work with. I might not have one in my truck, but would not hesatate if there was not the comapny, who's transmission i bought.

:)

Suncoast ...

Mackin,

Contact Chip at BlueChip. They are located in Hudson (southern) N. H. Chip will only deal with Suncoast for Auto-tranies. He rates them as the best not only for their product, but for their service.

I have Suncoast's Torque Converter and Valve Body in my otherwise stock transmission and have had no problems at all for the last 20,000 miles of running above 300rwhp, the past couple months running 400+. Several good friends also all run Suncoast and they love it too. It's the company of choice for Jeff Garmon's Drag Truck AND the Dakota. So I say go for it. You can't beat the customer service and reliability.

I had my stock 47RE swapped with a SunCoast transmission at their shop in Florida about 11,000 miles ago. They have a 1st class facility with very great technitions.

Joe & Ron are great guys to work with. They told me about Jeff Garmon and I have since had Jeff "tinker" with my truck and now the transmission is earning its keep.

I don't think you can go wrong with SunCoast transmission esp. with their 3yr/Unlimited hp/Unlimited mileage warranty.

Thanks for the info .....

I'm on call for a Suncoast stage III implant 650/1300 ... ... Well with in my expectations ... . By the time I'm ready for injectors and turbo, when something is avail, a transmission over haul may be just in order .....

Mac ;)

I've got Suncoast tc and vb in otherwise stock transmission. Installed at 36k (coincidence?). 25K later no problems and it shifts like it means it when under load. I pull medium heavy (around 11k) almost every day. I would highly recommend Suncoast. BTW if they will hold the hp Jeff Garmon puts out they gotta be good!
