... ... ... 1941. A date which shall live in infamy.

Please take time out of your busy schedule to remember those who have given the last full measure of devotion so that we may remain free. (As well as those over seas this Holiday season).

Let us take not for granted a good night sleep,a warm meal, freedom to think for ourselves and most importantly, freedom of worship. Amen.

Scott aka Greenleaf

Has anyone out there had the honor/privilege of visiting the USS Arizona Memorial? How can you not be moved... ... ... ..... 'nuff said.

I'd love to see it, I am watching the History channel right now about it. They have been showing the Japanese atrocities and Pearl Harbor history most of the day. We owe a whole Generation a lot for where we are today. :)

i was there....

sunday dec 7 1986. very erie. calm but tense. spent most of the day just across the harbor at the refeuling pier. took the tour that afternoon. was free for active navy if you wore your dress blues.

I went there six years ago on my honeymoon. One of the reasons we went there.

Thank you to all those that have served this great country of ours and especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in this great nation.

God Bless America!

Dan

They are the ones who gave the last full measure of devotion.

They were the first of many who followed so that the very thing we are doing now - speaking freely, worshiping, travel and so much more will be available to generations of free Americans.

To them we owe so much. We must pay it forward as they did.

that is one of the things i want to do before my time is up! is to visit and pay my respects to those that rest in peice there at pearl harbor! i dont think i will ever understand the sacrafices that that generation made! just blows my mind!! from reading about it and studying it at school and watching everything i can about it! thank U!!!

A visit to that site is a very moving experiance, something you never forget.

I had a co worker for many years who was a Dutch citizen and imprisoned as a young boy in the camps in Indonesia. After hearing his story I have a hard time believing a nation that barbaric can do a complete turn around in some sixty years.

Before my time is up I also want to visit Normandy, my father is at rest on the bluffs above Utah Beach.
