Well took a little longer than i wanted but its done. Turbo is as close to perfect as i have driven. At least for a daily driven vehicle. Spools well for the size. Turbo whine is much less audible than the HX35 (im not sure if thats good yet).

Fit was pretty good. Had an issue with the oil return pressing against the wastgate rod. Ended up cutting the flange, grinding the tube at more of an angle and rewelded. fits like a glove... . a really tight glove.

Aside from that well worth the money.

Now i just need to find time to do the headstuds so i can run more than 40psi... . which is enough power for me, well kinda, for a day or so.

So how does the turbo spool compared to your stocker??? I have a friend who has about the same setup as yours, expect he is running the jammers 3's. He was worried that he wouldn't have the sudden spool like a Hx 35 has.

It is noticably slower but when it starts spooling its gets up fast. I start seeing boost at 1700 and see 40psi by 1900ish. For contrast i was 34psi on the HX by 1750-1800. Not much difference at all. The big thing is, where the HX eases into the boost... . the 62 is all or nothing. Making it "seem" like it spools alot slower.

That sounds like the turbo that he needs, by the time you get some studs in you should be able to hold 50 pounds then. Another thing is does the turbo pull hard on the top end you know up around 3200 or 3300??? Cause that Hx is really falling off hard.

It doesnt fall off anywhere, just pulls and pulls... sometimes a little too long when i forget it gets through the gear alot faster.

I dont think your friend will be dissapointed.
