Has anyone tried this product? Force is a product you place in your Air Box and claims to increase MPG, horsepower, less smoke and reduced carbon build-up. Works with gas engines too.

kidding kidding I have seen 'em it kinda has a desacant bag looking thing that contains something..... what happens if the thing rips and those something's get by the filter and suck into the turbo? I don't fault 'em but still a skeptic.

Didn't mean to come off so scharcastic before, J. C whitney sells the force product (now I think it was improved to ForceII) Look on the website under Fuel aditives or chemicals (even though it is Niether of the two) From what I remember it was kind of like a aromatic catylist that when air was drawn through it inside the airbox it would mix with the oncomming air rushing into the intake. I guess you could call it a type of Vapor induction.
 
There's a much easier way for those of us using K&N filters - but I suppose it could be used on ANY filter - just get a jar of Vicks or Mentholatum vapor rub and smear it on the surface of your filter element - it will open those air passages right up, and improve "breathing" of your engine... Cheaper than that JC Whitney stuff too! #ad


(helps get rid of that diesel exhaust smell some critics object to as well... )

Benson, I'm thinking about getting 6 of those little fuel line magnets to clip on the injection lines right where they enter the cylinder head. Then that way I'll get maximum benefit from them. Mileage should at least triple #ad
 
Typed 'Force " into the Whitney search engine and pulled up nothing. (Not even a John Force model car) This product might be something new. ToolmanTim, I liked your post. #ad
I earn my living in a shop FULL of sarcasm.
 
I have used it for years on my gassers. Once again, I can't say that I have ever noticed a difference. I think it's right there with the magnets on the fuel line although I'm sure it can't hurt anything. It's primarily supposed to cool the intake air I believe.
