The evidence suggests they are. Every diesel-powered light truck owner in America knows the Cummins name and reputation, even Furd buyers, but they buy their junk Furds anyway. They are so blind/dumb they can only buy something with a Furd label. I think many of them like to be lied to.

Some would probably happily buy that false advertising claim of a "Cummins" (Navistar) V8 diesel and "Allison" (Furd) automatic if the seller would stick a blue oval decal on the valve cover.

I live a couple of miles from him. I was going to go look but I decided that would be aweful ignorant of me. I sent him an email explaining the engines and trans availability on his truck along with what is available on other pickups. I asked him who told him it had a Cummins and an Allison. Waiting for the reply.

The poor guy is going to be running that ad for a very long time if he is serious about his pricing.

Newmar built very good fifthwheels but I believe the Cypress was the entry level model with little of the usual quality of the Newmar name.

No one in his right mind would pay half of his asking price for a Navistar Sick. Ohh or Sick. Four in a Furd F-450 with rubber band transmission.
