Any interest in fuel slosh fixes? 1/4 tank issues?

Winter front

Stopped by the Carli shop today. They pulled out a mystery box and told me to open it up and check it out. A bit hesitant, since I have seen a few practical jokes in my day I cautiously opened the box... ... ... ... ... There they were the new ball joints... ... ... ... ..... all surrounded in the cut out foam packaging, surrounded in class and complete with a tube of Redline synthetic grease. Nice job guys! They were working out the install instructions written in limens terms. The miller tool part#s were included so the die guys can spec the correct tools to get er done. The grease ports and slots were impressive, the added o-ring will allow a water tight seal. The pin itself is removable for inspection. All the things that a $50k truck should have been built with. Awesome job. The end to upper ball joint issues!

Gentlemen,

As Bob stated above, the Heavy Duty upper ball joints are finally available. Extensive testing on the ball joints through Carli Suspension's product research and development cycle is now complete. We have logged thousands of nasty dirt miles over the past year to ensure that this product would be everything you have come to expect from us.

The ball joints start out as a chunk of 4130 chro-moly which is machined to our unique two tiered, internal grease port, patent pending design. The ball joint is then heat treated to a specified rockwell (hardness) that we have tested and set to make them able to withstand the meanest of beatings without showing any fatigue. From there the ball joints head to an aero-space lube company where a proprietary dry-lube is applied to our specified thickness. And of course we top them off with an accessible zerk fitting for easy servicing plus we even include a tube of high quality synthetic grease with each pair.

Our Heavy Duty ball joints will fit the 03-current Dodge 2500/3500 4x4 trucks.

Below are a couple of pictures to show some of the detail that went into these.

Here is the correct contact info... ..... I am just a consumer of their goodies Oo.

I got 165k on my originals... their still fine.

Is there any thought on producing lowers... you know, a complete set??

Do they fit 1st Gen Trucks???? GregH

Ummm, considering your truck doesn't have "ball joints", you have what are called king pins, from factory... you would actually be downgrading if you where upgrading to these.

King pins are, IMHO, the ultimate knuckle joint since they actually ride on bearings and the individual pieces can be replaced (if they ever wear out).
