I never said 2" But I DID measure mine and it is a full 1 1/2 higher. I don't work for Dodge. . I am just telling you that my 06 Mega cab is higher, buy 1 1/2 due to the new springs.

Thank You!

with leveling kits like Lorenz, they include drop blocks to lower the stabilizer bar... . wouldn't you need this with these heavier DC springs??

I had head lights readjusted but not the alignment. Ride is a little stiffer but feels good. Have not been on a trip yet.

When we raise the front with different springs (like my T-Rex/KORE) the axle moves over and you may want to ask your front end/frame guy about some adjustments there. I think I did that back when. I use the 2" KORE blocks under that weight transfer bar. George

Got Er In

I called two of my local Dodge dealers to order a set of #988s but the parts guys were such jerks, I decided to do some shopping. ( special order -no questions answered -they don't know anything about them-$149 + tax & shipping - no returns, right or wrong, etc. )

I ended up calling Wade at NGM Diesel Perf. and he sold me on a set of Skyjacker D25s for much less $ and had them on my porch in one day.

With some directions from him, I received them at 2 PM, installed them, and went for a ride at 5 PM yesterday.

After only about 25 miles they seem to work great,no more heavy

(Buckstop) bumper problems.

They raised the front up to level, adding about 2 & 3/8 inches lift, although I'm not crazy about their BRIGHT RED paint job, I can live with it.

Three hours very well spent.

anyone interested,,,, on ' dodgeparts.com ' these springs are priced at $100. 23,, MSRP IS $129. 00,, each ,, plus shipping,, I have ordered other things thru this ,, worked out well ,, I may gt some of these soon , it would be nice to lift the front a little , I just have to check and see what is on the truck now to compare,,, weather has been to bad to mess with it. .

i installed the 988s yesterday took about an hour and a half pretty straight forward it raised the truck about 1. 25 inches the springs i replaced were 985s on both sides the ride is about the same i took before & after measurements for wheel well height & space between the bumpstop & axel will post if anyboby is interested also a couple of pictures overall happy with the set up it is still a little nose low with 10psi in the rear air bags but looks alot better than before
