Hey guys:

How many of you are running the new Super Swamper TrX'us tires? Do they last a long time on the road? What are they like off-road? I'm thinking about purchasing some. They are quite cheap and I was hoping they would last for quite a while on the road. They should definately grip all right, they look a littel rough treaded. Thanks for the input.

I got them

J DeMaio from Marietta :) I have a set of the Trxus 285's 10 Ply. on my truck. 15,000 miles and a few ((( burnout's ))) and only half gone. I should be able to get just over 30,000 miles out of them. But for the price you will not get stuck in mud or snow and they look good too. :D

hope this helps

Cliff from Marietta :)

Okie-Go - All i can say, from personal experience, is stay away from the thornbird tires. I was running a set of 35's on my old 97 1/2 ton ram. Very slick in any kind of snow. Plus i only got 5k miles on them before i broke the belts in 2 of them.

Thornbird: noun, a mudtire that will get stuck on we grass. Has BIG sidelugs, but nothing inbetween. Uses, street use, looks good, but thats all.

Interco

I was curious about the Truxus too, but they are only offered in a 16" size, and I have some nice 16. 5" aluminum wheels that I want to put on the truck when I get new tires. Have decided to go with the new BFG mud terrain KM 33 x 12. 5 x 16. 5's when they come out.

In general, Interco tires are some of the toughest off road tires there are. (except Thornbirds, they suck) My Jeep has a set of their super swampers, and they are TOUGH. Now watch, next time I'm in the rocks, I'll cut one. :D
