Who has used these tires? Desertrat.com has them in the 285 75 16 10 ply for $129. 00. Bfg's need replacing on the back. I just got a quote for $202. 50 for same size AT's. I am thinking about going with the SS... Greg

What are you wanting to do with these tires?



They're great for street use, but pretty lousy for offroad use. I tore 2 sidewalls on my Toyota FJ40. I now run TSL SX bias ply.



Super Swampers radials ride nice and don't have much road noise like the boggers. Super Swamper tires are not known for long tread life.



Have you looked at Good Year MT/R or some BFG's?



Try 4 wheel parts/wholesalers. They're offering free freight.

Also, they beat anyone's price.

btw: did you get the check? The pump cover is working great. Just need to get a SBC clutch so I can "realize" the power...

I am running BFG AT's right now. I was just looking for a better tire... ... ... Might go with the Goodyear M/T R next year. For now I will get two more BFG 285's to make up for the ones I smoked off when I got the new Comp box. Better save for tires too. Greg

hmm. those prices don't look that fantastic... at least to me. maybe it is the exchange rate or something, but i paid $175 canadian each for my goodyears at/s' in 2x 285/75/16 and 2x 305/70/16 mounted and balenced on inner lip only. 4wpw has their price for the at/s' in 285/75/16 @ $170. 95 USD

I am still amazed at how well the truck pulls. Just keeps going. I think you will have to wait a while for the HX. I still love it. Maybe just maybe after the cam... ... ... yea thats it
