That's a neat car, but I don't care for the paint job much. I know a guy who had a superbird with a 440 six-pack. He let me drive it around the block once. I'll bet it would be worth some big bucks too if he still had it.

The paint is Tor-Red. The photos are bad - looks like bright sunlight and shadows. It's really a solid red color, not some goofy psychodellic like it appears to be. Some of the other photos show it without the bright sunlight and shadows affect.

Can anyone spot me $100k until payday? #ad

Hate to tell yall this but it don't turn me on at all. It might be fun to pull behind the cummins to take it somewhere.

The thing that amazes me is the story behind the car. It's like finding a time capsule. It's unbelievable, but seems to have almost air tight documentation. It's really a shame that someone kept that massive elephant tied up for all those years rather than letting it run. Hopefully the new owner will put some miles on that beast. It was built to run, not sit.

Those things are worth about 10K as long as you can tell it was a superbird at one time lol. The things were ugly IMO but man do they have some history and value. I agree about the driving part, Show cars are worthless IMO. . a statue with a motor. How can you have a Hemi, or 440+6 powered car and not take it out and run the hell out of it???

My partner and I just finished up tuning and re-engineering the vacum system on an orange SuperBird 440+6 auto for a customer who just sold it for $45,000. Drove it around town for a while, you get a lot of looks, but man those beasts are HEAVY, and they handle like a toad. Very hard to get good depth perception with that long hood and nose. The only reason Chrysler sold them was because NASCAR told them they had to--many of the 'Birds were actually converted to look like regular Road Runners so they sould sell--but it wasn't easy, as the hood is off of a '70 Dodge Coronet. The car in the add will spend the reat of its life in a museum some where, as the investors that buy these things only know one thing, $$$$! If you go to the Mopar Nationals in Columbus Ohio this August, you will probably see the car in the "Survivors" Tent.

If I remember correctly, the fenders are from a '69 Coronet on the Superbirds.

It's up to $100,100. There's still a little over a day left, so get your bids in! #ad

I found one in Greeley Co last year for 60K that was in mint condition. They also had all the paperwork, and all the history for the car. It had low mileage, but I dont remeber the exact number.
