Is anyone running the new superchips 3705? If so, what are the results? Since I am 2old2BOMB it appears this could be a good alternative. (Soon as I get my PL/VP44 problem solved)

I have that programmer it is fine on the lower settings but I do not feel any difference from the 50 hp to 70hp change also you don't get a boost elbow or a fooler so you truck will throw the check engine light on . By the time you buy the elbow and fooler you could have bought an edge ez. There are some good things about the programmer is that you can fix your spedo and it is a code scanner when your done

i didnt get no difference with the superchips even the boost did not change on any of the three levels but mine is a 98. 5 so i was told after i had already bought it so i returned no problem so i bougt an edge ez now i notice a big difference but the superchips is good for code reading among other things it cost me 350. 00 the edge was 400. 00 even from daves diesel just haggle a little bit

I got one for x-mas, took a trip to florida, noticed a 2. 5mpg increase. I like it because I run 33x12. 50x16. 5 tires ,I was able to reset speedo. The only other mods are K&N stock replacement filter,Muffler gone. Its a 01' auto quad 4x4 sb. To me ,feels like I got a little more power and better shift points

did you get your 2. 5 mpg increase off of the overhead trip computer or did you figure it out by hand.

by hand i guess, milage driven, fuel used, my odemeter is also showing more miles per stock tank fill up. but as far hooking it to a computer no i didn't do that

I'm quite happy with mine

I've noticed a big improvement in power over stock. That's not to say that the EZ or VA aren't better, but I haven't tried them. I have noticed a decrease in fuel mileage, but I think my lead foot has more to do with that.

I got it mostly for the speedo/odo corrections. The extra power is just the icing.

I have tested both the superchips and the hypertech programmers over the past few months, and should hopefully have an article in the next issue to cover my results including some third party dyno numbers.
