Does anyone have an opinion on the Superchips 3805? Seems very reasonable in price and my experience with Superchips is based on my old truck (5. 7 Hemi) and loved it. Being that Diesels are a different animal all together with EGT's, etc I need a little more feedback before doing something stupid and especially the fact the truck is still under warranty. I have looked at the others, i. e. Bully Dog (nice product but what I hear is they overwrite some of the script in the PCM which can cause problems with warranty service and the fact that this process leaves foot prints) Banks/Edge (I don't want all the wires strung throughout the vehicle) I like the fact that the Superchips is by far the cheapest, gives you roughly the same power and is easily uploaded and removed if necessary. I have also read that Superchips does not overwrite the script files but adds files to existing. Any thoughts or misconceptions on my part? BTW... they have been the best with my phone calls and answering any and all questions.

Thanks,

Tont

#1, Look at the SMARTY CR - 2003-2005. 5 available now, 2006 available midway through this month... Call Bob Wagner ( http://www.wagnerandassociates.biz ) and talk to him about it. You can also check 'em out on http://www.madselectronics.com ...

1/2 power + 1-9 power/timing levels, supposedly DCX undetectable [for your warranty concerns, but remember - you are your own waranty station if you do mods], better mileage, more power, cooler EGTs than stock, etc etc etc...

If you want to talk to someone about Superchips, call Ross Falen at Dynomite Diesel Performance - They sell superchips stuff (Flashpaq, etc)... http://www.dynomitediesel.com/ or 360-794-7974
