Hey any of you guys tried the new Superchips Flashpack on their 05 or 06 trucks yet? The dyno sheet on their web site looks pretty impressive. I wonder if that much power is too much for a stock transmission?

Does anyone have any feedback on how it compares to the BDDL? Also, how does it make its power (Duration/Timing/Pressure)?

Thanks,

Clint

The one I have in my '06 Quadcab works excellent. You can definitely feel the power gain Even in the tow mode. It also increased my fuel milage dramatically. It raised my empty highway milage from 13. 8mpg to 24mpg. And my towing milage from 9. 7 to 13. 5.

Is that a typo 13. 8 to 24 Hwy? :--) That can't be right, can it?

You better believe it. When my driver told me I called him a liar. He proved me wrong. This of course is going by what the trip computer says.

Unless the box you're using only does timing, the overhead computer is not going to calculate mileage correctly. When and if that driver hand calculates the mileage difference, he'll probably only find a 1-2mpg gain, if any.

The overhead does not know about the extra fuel that is being injected.

I have one ordered and will be here tomorrow. I will try and post results as soon as i have a few miles and can run a couple of tanks and will hand calc the mileage figures.

I picked their customer support desk brains before I ordered and was quite impressed with the level of knowledge and his answers.

The cost in fuel to make our normal trip dropped by over $150. 00

KSHall,

So far we have sold out of them three times, the customer response has been great, no transmission issues so far. The shifting is firmed up and overall a great product etc.

Mark @ DPPI

Hey Mark,

Can the Superchips run with the Edge Juice? Does it help also with torque management? Also, if you could PM me with a price, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

I know this has already been asked but no one has responded.

1. Does it increase power by duration? pressure? timing?

2. Does it leave an imprint on the ECM or anywhere that can be detected.

Thank You.

Well crud. I guess that means that if you need service that the dealer will pitch a fit and cancel your power train warranty huh?

just bought my superchips flashpaq about a week ago. No doubt this thing makes power. It makes more power than I ever expected. I have not calculated fuel mileage but i do not believe it has gone up any i believe it has gotten less mileage if anything but i guess you can not have your cake and eat it too!
