Competition 2005 Ozone Depletion Tour Begins Feb 26

We have a new Superflow Dual Eddy Current Dyno in Greeley, Co.



They got it running this past week. It is capable of inertia testing like a dynojet or load testing... ... ... ..... WOW.



This is at the Greeley Automotive Machine, Inc. shop. They are a machine shop that builds many racing engines for the car guys both near and far. Calling 970-352-4342 will get you to the shop. Bruce Yackey is the man in charge.



Bruce and I have talked about a dyno day in the next few weeks, so we will get something going.



He is open for dyno testing. Oo. Oo.

A dyno day sounds like fun. Maybe LaserBob could find some nice gals from a polar bear club(who else wears a bikini outside in the winter?) to help celebrate the new area dyno?

hey dave what's up i think that mike and i might make it over there tomorrow so u down to visit or what i wanna see how it is with those twins i mean at least u don't have to worry about shifting... ... ...
 
I'm not too worried about shifting, only need to make two of them. Be sure to have them give you both the Superflow numbers as well as the DynoJet numbers. David
 
no doubt i will he told me they had a conversion so 2 shifts is all i got to make any ground that's a little bit. I can honestly say that at least now i'm fast enough to make u shift 2 times where as before i think after the first one u could have finished me easily... ... ... i am hoping it goes good tomorrow i just wanna go and get some numbers and see what mike throws down... ... ..... swing by if you want we are thinking afternoonish
 
I'd try to give em' a call first, those guys are usually real busy with other things during the day and I doubt they'd drop what they're doing if you just showed up. I could be wrong though Moolie. I hope you were able to get on it today, Bruce's setup is way cool. David



P. S. What do you and Mike do for a living? I have to work during the week but if you guys can hook me up I'd be more than happy to play trucks!!
 
hey i talked to bruce yesterday and he said it was cool to get over there whenever they weren't that busy we didn't have a chance to get there today... ..... but mike said " tomorrow morning we're there. . " so he's supposed to call me and if he does then we will be there if not then i'm not sure i just dyno'd last week so it's not totally vital but it's a good test of what the 2 trucks can do and also how we will rate on a mustang style dyno... ... like the one at the ats upcoming event i believe... ... ... should be interesting... . david when u coming by i mean don't tell me you are gonna have those twins and just sit there all quiet and not say a word about anything and never dyno... ... they gotta be broken in by now... ..... if not come break them in

If you guys havent gone to dyno yet give me a call. Always up for some smoke and fun. The more I learn the more fun I have. Am currently being very successful at losing my voice, but if I'm not busy then I could drop by.

hey dgrizz that dyno was mean bro he had it 2nd with od out i don't know why in 2nd but he did and was going like 75 or something maybe more i was in fear of the ultimate destruction but i didn't feel the wrath this time... ..... not yet
 
Yea, it's pretty wild being around the load test the first couple of times-makes a guy start sweatin' bullets without doin anything. The Superflow #'s are quite a little bit lower than the Dynojets' are up here. When you look around the TDR and see the #'s guy's are making elsewhere, with similar mods as some trucks around here, the high #'s we've been getting from PFI(dynojet) just don't sound right. It's nice to tell people those big #'s, but if the #'s ain't right I don't want em'-David

Weekdays just don't work out very well for me but on the weekends I'm game. I'm gonna guess you're not a big load test fan right now huh Mike? What mph range and how long did Bruce make the run? Anyways, Haven't gotten the RASP installed yet but look forward to seeing it in action
 
that guy explained it good he said that dynojet uses sae correction which isn't even the same as standard correction. I know i was about 40 hp lower on the load test but they were inconsistant i mean it was sloppy. Then mike didn't even get a good run so they knocked of 8 bucks and charged me ten extra what's with that man. sweet machine but damn. I wanna get that software he said we could get and then check out my runs sorry i didn't make it friday guys
