Just my opinion, but I think most if not all engine oil additives are snake-oil scams. Slick-50 and Prolong are two perfect examples.

If any of these additives really worked the oil makers would put them in for you.

The only one I would run is the Lubeguard. The trans treatment for instance, is highly recomended.

For additives stick to synthetic oils throughout. and you can't go wrong. They are about 8 to 9% slippery and take heat and cold better then your alternatives.
