I had the opportunity to fire a Walthar P22 with a TAC 65 supressor on it this weekend and it was amazing! You could only here the slide go back and forth (other than the bullet hitting the target). This was shooting regular 22 long rifle ammo.
I was so impressed I'm ordering one for myself. I have to start all the paperwork for the suppressor which will probably take 2 months to get approved (not to mention the $200 tax). What BS...
Anyways, has anyone had any other experience shooting a suppressed firearm?
I'd like to know how quiet a . 45 handgun can be or a even a . 223? I imagine the . 223 can't be silenced as the bullet would still be supersonic as it leaves the suppressor and still produce the crack since its faster than the speed of sound?
The other weapons I got to use were equally impressive... full auto UZI's, MP5's, etc
And to think I showed up too late, they had already put the big guns away
