I don't tow, but I can understand how surge can affect someone who does. I can also drive most of the time and not get any flutter. But I do get the flutter in certain circumstances. I've also read alot the last few nights about surge and the damage it can cause to turbos. Is there any way to stop it? I understand the reason it happens (greater pressure built up on the compressor side than the volume of air on the intake side can feed) but is there anyone who has tried to tie the two sides in with some type of a bypass to equalize pressure until a certain amount of boost has been built... . or something like that...

I have a fluttering problem (I think) the boost guage flutters about 3lbs when towing, there is no fluttering not towing,,I dont feel it, but watching the guage reminds of a burnt valve on an old chevy v8. . any ideas would be great...
