Surgery 8:00 am Friday morning - will be out of touch for a few days

Well, here I sit at 3:30 am laying on an ice pack. Can't sleep because the pain is too great (excruciating actually). 28 1/2 hours until try #2 on my neck surgery. Had a blood test on monday to check my hemoglobin count and they haven't called to schedule a transfusion so it must be up enough to have it. Can't get here fast enough! Can't wait to get this behind me and be rid of this pain. Wendy will be sending out an email to a bunch of people on friday letting everyone know how it came out. I think Rob is going to update you guys on here. If you aren't aware of the saga you can read more about it on these threads:

I'll be out of touch for a few days but I've left instructions with others on how to reboot the server, make the backup server take over, etc. I appreciate the support that I've gotten through you guys and look forward to feeling better. Try not to burn the place down while I'm gone!

I know how you feel Steve and it is not plesent. They had me in a holding pattern for six weeks before they cut my throat and fixed my blown disc. You won't have to deal with the pain anymore, just with the recovery... and then you will be almost good as new
