Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
My truck developed a surging problem after the dealer replaced my Crank Sensor and Boost sensor. After checking so many different things it turns out that it was a broken plug on the IAT sensor that was causing the problem. I am guessing that they hit it when taking out the Boost sensor or something. Hope this helps somebody. Mine would not lose power but get extra kicks if it usually around 2000 RPM and higher, but not always.
