Surging when taking off

I have noticed for the past few weeks that when I take off and barley apply throttle that the engine will quickly accelerate until I push the clutch in. It will only do it every so often but I am at 95K and am wondering if I should take it in or if there is a known fix. Also is there any point in me taking my truck to the dealer/******* to have it gone over before the 100K mark?

Might not be your problem, but when my ADDS sensor (basically the troddle position sensor) went bad it stopped returning to idle and while I was waiting to fuel up it raced the enging to red line before I could stab the peddle and get it to come back down. Most of the time when they fail they create a dead peddle, but not in my case.
