My truck has always surge after a shift. And the more power I add the more amplifyed the problem gets. With my blue box on 30% overfuel setting I get a major surge. If I do a 1/3 to 1/2 press on the pedal keeping it steady and get say 15 # boost on a shift the truck will surge to 25#. Is there a fix for this? It is like the computer doesnt want the cummins rpm to drop.
