surging ????????????

My truck has always surge after a shift. And the more power I add the more amplifyed the problem gets. With my blue box on 30% overfuel setting I get a major surge. If I do a 1/3 to 1/2 press on the pedal keeping it steady and get say 15 # boost on a shift the truck will surge to 25#. Is there a fix for this? It is like the computer doesnt want the cummins rpm to drop.

The only time i get a surge is when i first start up, just let the oil pressure build , then let out the clutch. It always does it in the first 3 gears untill it warms up.

I have surge upon starting... It is a sometime problem. . dosn't happen all the time. It surges for about 3 vrooms and then is ok. Dosn't matter if it is hot or cold. 5* hadn't a thing to say about it. Does anyone else have this happen to them. Any fixes. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. thanx

Mine is all the time. It is like I have a govern run engine. Some thing wants the engine to stay at the same rpm. Like for example a generator as load increases so does the throtle position.
