surprise-brake drums not warranteed

I checked with 3 dealers this week and all agree that brake drums and rotors are only warranteed for 12k/12mo.
Am I the only Ram owner that did not know this?
Our 98 needs it's drums turned or replaced for shudder problems.

Adiabatic,
Brake parts & clutch are only warrantied for 12k miles. Your owners manual clearly states the other parts that fall in the same classifiction.

Unless something else goes bad and causes the problem, like a frozen calaper, or axle seal leak.

Brian, my manual only states that pads and linings are covered to 12k miles. No mention of drums and rotors.
