Dented fuel tank

Anybody? Cooper Discovery SST....

2005 3500 quad 4WD. I'd like to lower the truck if possible. I see that there are 2 "Leaves" on the rear springs that are only about 5" long. It appears that if I remove those I could lower it an inch or so.

Also, interested in any experiences anybody has had with air suspension on front or rear.

He is talking about the 2 spacers between the spring and axle, it won't affect anything but ride height.

Oh, I thought he was talking about the 2 lowest leaves that are shorter than all the rest. My mistake.
