How To Add A Third Brake Light??

Looking for a Hotshot Company to Lease On With!

I going to purchase a new 06 3500 4x4 next week, ( if I find the one I like). I want to install a slide in camper. Do I have to upgrade the rear suspension? If so, to what. Thanks

I went from an 01 to an 05 3500. I haul a Lance 1161 (heavy 4K loaded). On the 01 I had the Ride Rite airbags, Hellwig sway bar, and Rancho RS9000. I did the same thing on this one. I'm currently on vacation and have driven Seattle-Indianapolis-Moab, Utah with zero problems. Load handles just fine with about 60lbs in the bags and the RS9000 set on 8 or 9. Love this truck and set up. You going with a Mega? Only offered with about a 6. 5 ft bed. That will limit your camper options.

Good luck in your quest for adventure!

Set the shocks to 3 or 4 on the rear when empty. Rides firm and better than the stock shocks. With the stocks on the front, I could hit the bumpstops with a ride over a small speed bump at slow speed. I adjusted the front 9000s to where it doesn't hit and rides firm and comfortable. I believe they are at 4 or 5.

We just returned from a long trip with the camper. I drove to Bloomington, IN, for a conference. The wife flew out and we went to Southern Utah and canyon country for a couple weeks of recreation. Enjoyed the trip very much. Truck and camper combo with the additions of the air bags, sway bar, and shocks worked very well! Truck rode firm but comfortable. You know the load is there but not uncomfortable to drive at all. From 2-lane to super highway, I'm very pleased with the results. I think you'll like the switch.
