Sutton wooped up on us in Hilmar with a 248 ft pull,

BigBadDodge was second... Every puller in the xtreme class blew something up or had major issues... .

Way Ta GOOOooo

WOW!!! Absolutely outstanding!!!Oo.

Those new bars must have cured the bunny hops.

It's been a while since the red truck saw the winners circle.

Congratulations on the victory. :)

And chalk one up for Performance Diesel too:cool:

You should have seen it Sleddy, a Ca Auto truck beaten up on even the sneakiest of east coast transplants ( sorry Scott I had to do it). Right on Chris nice job and way to stay at it. Major carnage all night Adam broke his third flex plate Bradon breaks a transfer case James breaks another rear end Scott loses a special east coast drive line, but what a great night of pullin for sure.

thanks guys--yes it's been a long time 13 months to be exact---

major thanks to all who've been helping me--

Bullydog

J&H Performance

Rock Equipment.com and some very good friends to boot

it was too bad to have this much carnage--I don't know how I survived to be honest, but I did and drove home----

east coast parts took a beating on the track with parts left there--not sure if it was bad luck or--well in Scott's case yes, but the others--well you know a dana 70 won't handle this power--B's breakage was probably going to happen very soon(wear & tear), flex plate--too wild, my6... even forgot to turn off the valet switch and it happened down the track under power, duramax-nothing needs to be said here and the other dodge(Dave Archer) I didn't see what he broke----

but the best part is my hops were gone--that's what has me smiling the most---chris

That sounds more like Muncie's breakage record.

Just out of curiosity... . what does this "East coast" driveline consist of? What size u-joints? And don't forget a first time stick truck puller can be very hard on a driveline! Breaking parts is part of pulling... . you just gotta figure out what to replace it with. Alot of Muncie's breakage was because of the sled!

JDailey--BBD has pulled before, albeit just for practice more than anything because his clutch couldn't take it--this was his first time pulling with his all new setup-239'1" for 2nd place and it didn't look like he did anything wrong or first timish at the end, yes he will get better, but his driving didn't break these parts--if I remember the ujoints(which didn't break on BBD's truck were 1380's I think) he toasted the upgraded IH carrier bearing some how-this was a new setup with beefed up driveline, u-joints and carrier bearing from sleddy's driveline guru--yes it could've been just a faulty part, but then we can't razz our buddy-sledpuller; not to mention the power upgrades from the east --the other guys broke parts due to power, sled and track and wear and tear with east coast connection--don't take it too personal this is just our way of digging back at our eastcoast pal ol' sledpuller --chris

Well, I would like to hear exactly, what happened, not a bunch of guys who are happy the best trucks broke, so they could win. ;)

I know it was right when it left Pa.

But, carnage happens at these levels, even the best parts give up.

What makes me nervous, is perhaps Scott has much more power than I thought... ...

Thank goodness Lorretta Mitchell doesn't post everytime one of her customer's trucks wins. :D

Mitchells

Seems to me I remember someone taking a shot at how well Extreme Diesel was doing and how embarassing it must be for the other outfits back this way. Turn about is fair play:p

No offense taken, Chris... I was just curious. The carrier bearing is a problem on ext cab trucks... . a dropbox and a one piece shaft will cure that! Darn street trucks... .

Gene..... LMAO! What's even funnier... . what if Lorretta was braggin about her truck winning when all the other trucks broke!! LMAO!!

Drop box..... :D next truck, my man, next truck.

I stripped the ol sledpuller today, she will be back into service haulin my butt an hour and 15 minutes to work. :(

sleddy --I'll tell you exactly what happened---well if I knew anyway---I'll let BBD tell you as he's probably surveyed the damage in the daylight and got a better handle on it---we didn't even know there was a problem with the carrier until we started to leave the event---I know Danelle got vids and hopefully BBD's wife did too--any ideas why that side cover gasket would puke itself out---

geesh get off HVAC's case--it's been sometime since we/he could say anything positive towards my truck concerning pulling---and Loretta doesn't need to say anything as you guys beat her to the punch:G----

every truck that was trailered broke--interesting

now for a bigger lift, bigger tires, bigger camper shell and mo power so I can get my hops back---chris

LOL!

Trying to shut down HVAC before he tells us he invented truck pulling, thats all! ;)

No idea on that cover, to much pressure in the crankcase, becuase..... ????

HUH?

Sled, do you always use drugs when you post on the tdr?

Perhaps you can elaborate a bit regarding your comments. What have I claimed?

You are hallucinating and I suggest you contact a proctalogist to have a look at you, you may have hit your head.

... . but I just 35 bucks to use the classifieds and don't really feel like getting kicked off here again. Maybe later.
