Off Roading Anyone run a lot of mud?

Way to go Chris :) . I only wish I could have been there to see it. :( . Getting rid of the "bunny hops" is a major achievement Oo.

Cylinder pressure entered the crankcase.

That could be bad.

Maybe a hair over fill on the oil level, and was making ungody pressure with the oil pump.

How about new motor and things aren't seated yet ? oil level was fine. Piers says it's fine. I have the new gasket in hand and this time the Cummins silver sealent silicone will be used this is by far not the first time this has happened to anybody, I have heard about it before, and the sealent seems to cure it. I think somebody needs to redisign the cover a little thicker and find away that allows it to tighten down better.

The truck is back home, the carier bearing simply slid forward out of the rubber and is fixed now, but I won't be pulling again till I get the four link in. The rearend must have really moved and I don't want to risk this new driveline if she wraps up again.

I guess it's time to look at solutions to high-RPM problems now that more than one of our diesel buddies are running insane RPM's... .

Maybe we could look at our gasser ( :rolleyes ) buddies for some oiling ideas... .
