Thanks, TDR Staff
Anyone know of any? Heard rumors about one in Kalamazoo in June, but that's all I know. Last year it seems like there were some in Prarieville, Marshall, and others. Anyone hear of anything scheduled yet???

Nothing that I have heard of yet. I will check with my cousin, I think he might know of a few at the local fairgournds.

Did you ever get any pump work done? I am curious to hear the results. Thanks.

Marshall does have truck pulls, but it's pretty much a "beat up farm truck special" kind of event. Although there are some diesels that attend. I'll let you know when it comes time for this one.

i know theres one in leslie this fall, its a good pull too. theres one in morely, maybe two. i think theres one in lake odessa in mid summer too. praireville had one last year and i think they will do it again. i think theres one at the end of this month, in the grand rapids area, or close by. if i can think of anymore i will post them.

Tried calling for Aaron a couple of times - just when I was set to take it off and send it to him, I ran accross an '01 24V 6-spd for a price I couldn't refuse (hence the pulling question). I spent a little chunk of change to put down on it, and of course, replace ball joints, shocks, get gauges, get a pusher pump, and an Edge Comp Drag box. It's the wife's truck...

Anyways, gotta sell her Z71, and level out my cash flow - then I'll send out my pump. Like I said before - even if I spend only $250 (or a little more - it doesn't run smooth  ) to have my pump gone through, I can't help but wonder if I'd be $ ahead at the end if I just buy a recon 215 pump for $900... Either way, it and a torque convertor have GOT TO be done this year if I plan on driving it all year...

I'm all for the run what ya brung competitions - our diesels can crush the "farm trucks" a lot of (all?) the time, there are pretty much zero organized pulls unless I want to drive 3-5 hours away, and as much as I like them, I just don't have the desire to build either of my (oops! - did I say MY? - I meant our... ) "street" trucks to any certain class. I just want the most performance for my dollar, and to have fun at a local pull here & there - win or lose.

Sled Puller, Eric Stacey's (sp?), Crowder's, and Mitchell's trucks are awesome, but I just don't have that kind of time, money, and maybe even ability to pull off that level of competition, plus my daily driver is borderline legal going down the street - and WAY illegal in any formal pulling class... I just want to screw around and have fun for now. Famous last words...

There is a "farm truck pull" with 3 diesel classes (one open, one basically bone stock)at the Kalamazoo County fair grounds on June 12th.

No idea what sled, but I don't really care. Morning will be antique tractors, trucks start to register @ 3. Two classes for small blocks, 2 for big blocks, 2 for diesels and one "open" class. The rules read "turbo" in the open class, but doesn't specifically say ONLY one...

I will try to post the diesel and open class rules here if anyone's interested, but I will ask advice in exchange. :) This will be my first time...
