Fact is, the lead post, AND this thread was originally intended as a statement - not a discussion or debate, and I had requested administration to immediately lock the thread... WHY? Because if there is ANYTHING I can't stand, it's arbitrary and inequitable treatment! What a few brainless loudmouth jackasses say to me as fellow members is ONE thing - but when *I* try to play by the rules - and get publicly denounced for it - while OTHERS post crap like THIS,

I'm not a crybaby, I can certainly take care of myself, verbally OR physically - but THAT sort of personal attack BS is both unnecessary and MOST unwelcome - UNLESS I am allowed to respond on the same level playing field - apparently that wasn't gonna happen... We have lost too many good members and sources of knowledge in similar instances - for that, we all suffer.
I have NO problem with those who oppose or criticise my viewpoints - I have LOTS of problems with those so stupid and lacking in intelligence and logic that they must fall back on pure juvenile name-calling and personal abuse as their primary source of response!
In the thread in question, I expressed, complete with descriptive language, MY personal views on an ISSUE - I attacked NO one personally and have NO power to enforce my opinion on ANYONE - and others certainly had every right to then oppose my view with their own viewpoint - complete with their own "descriptive language" if they chose - what they should NOT have been allowed, was to attack ME personally - or to follow me to other threads with their durogatory comments and attacks as a couple did, including Jyro up above!
Some of my critics (can't please everyone!) wanna rumble? Fine with me - but give me the same lattitude you do THEM - if yer gonna call ME out for my "transgressions", call THEM out, individually and personally as well - otherwise, simply delete posts felt to be offensive, or shut the dern thread down!
Much went on behind the scenes, posts were changed or eliminated, apologies were made and accepted - but damage WAS done, some WERE offended.
Thanks to those here, and in the many private Emails, wished me well and asked me to reconsider - sometimes we get overwhelmed and discouraged by what appears to be insurmountable opposition - the kind words DID make a difference!
SO, it's over - unless there's still more fallout that changes things, I'm back - and AGAIN, I ask that this END HERE - administrator, PLEASE lock this thread!
