Swaping HY35 to HX35 need help

I replaced mine on a 01 and it was with a 00 no problem was very straight forward and everything fit perfect. I bought the new gasket for the exhaust to turbo and the one for the oil return. Takes about an hour the first time. The rear lower left exhaust bolt was the hardest one because it is hard to get leverage on. By the way don't forget to tighten the oil line to the turbo. I drove mine about 20 miles and wondered if I tightened it . Didn't but had no leak real lucky

OK... ... . So it's a bolt on... . What kind of changes are you gus getting from the HX over the HY? Is the 12cm housing putting out more volumne than the puny HY 9cm?... I would think the pressure would be the same... Lower EGT's? What? WHAT? Is it cost effective, since there seem to be a big diff in price between HX35 V HX40?

need help making the swap
Are there any differences in these turbo's
in relation to there hookup or mounting? as i have heard that there might be problems in connecting the bottom oil drain back to the block. the HX35 came off a 98. 5
Can anyone make any recommendations for the swap?
Should i go with the 14cm housing over the 12cm as egt's are my primary concern

Havn't put it on yet because I have some warranty issues to work out... Can't take the truck in yet because of the check engine light problem... It seems all the CA trucks that have a DTT TC, lite up the dash MIL. , so until Bill K. can fix this, I can't take it to the dealer... . Just hobblin' along for now. .
