switchable dome lamp

Im just wondering if anyone has found a switchable dome light for the back light of my quad cab? I need a way to let the peps in the back see what there up to.

Dang you must have got something I dont becuse when I push mine all it does is push the headliner up with it.

My son wants lights in the rear over each seat like on an airplane. (or maybe our old Lincoln)

I believe that its part of the light group. I have the light group on my 03, a buddy of mine has exaclty the same truck expect for the light group and doesnt have it. Just like the under the hood light.

My '04 doesn't have it, either. Like someone else said, it's part of the light group.



You can still get those airplane reading lights from places that sell the materials for conversion vans. Places like JC Whitney.

Is this the light group that comes with the fog lights, becuse I dont have fog lights eather.

No. The fog lights are a separate option. $140 msrp/$123 inv. Light group: $175/$154 "includes lamps for switchable dome, cup holder, ashtray, underhood and vanity mirror. " That's quoted from the last page of the new brochure.

my 03 1500 gasser had that dome light that lit up if you pressed it in like my 04 does, but the 03's never had the light group option... i thought it was standard on slt or laramie

My 03 does have the light group option, it was available later in the model year.
