2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Switching back to stock wheels.

I am wanting to go back to the stock wheels and down size a bit with the tires as well. Probably will go with bfg 265/75/16E



I'm too old to be driving a teenagers truck. The only thing on it that makes it look that way is the 16x10 aluminium wheels and fat tires.



I don't have any of the old stock stuff off my truck so I've been shopping around. I had the chrome wheels originally anyway... . I want the grey ones.



I'm hoping to find the gray steel wheels like what your spare is probably on, the chrome center caps. beauty rings and lug nuts. Its going to add up to some $$ buying them all separately.



I checked the classifieds here and other places on the internet, there are some available, but figured I fish here to see what you all have lying around your garages.



Actually if anyone knows part numbers for these things it might be helpful as well.



Will probably be getting rid of the fancy aftermarket wheels after its all done.

I commonly see stock 2nd gen alum. 16x8 wheels from #200-$400 a set.



you might just keep your eyes. open or catch anothr memberr that is looking for those 16x10s.

Jeff, Pick up a truck trader, they always have take offs in the back. I think Cali has a trader with misc. stuff also.

Foolkiller, About once a week call a very busy custom tire shop, Here in AZ it Discount Tire. They take off original wheels all the time to upgrade for customers. You should get what you want for cheap. Ive done it before. Bill

You could also consider 3rd gen wheels and tires. There is a lot on ebay. They look good, fit, and i think they come standard with 265's, except they are 17's.
