2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Switching differentials?

98 and up trucks do not have a speed sensor,,,,, at least not in the transmission/transfercase,,,,, the read speed off the exicter ring on the differ carrier,,,, swap carriers,,,, problem solved

I found out we can not swap carriers. We will have to hire the work done, reshim ect. What do we need to do to get our speed o meter right?

Nothing...........

The speedo is controlled by the carrier. The carrier has to get swapped with the gears anyway. At least when you go from a 3 series gear to a 4 series or vice versa.
