Just switched the rear end over to Rotella
80/140 syn. & was wondering if I should put
the limited slip additive or run it w/o until
I see if it is going to chatter in the corners. Any & all opinions are appreciated.
thanks Rick

I run Mobil 1 Syn (75W-90). The product states that it already has friction modifiers and no additional is necessary. I do get a bit of chatter in slow sharp corners, but performance otherwise is excellent.

Rick I ran 85w140sny,mobil 1 in my 98 dana 80 diff. It took a few miles of driving but the Limted slip began locking while turning corners. Put in the additive, end of problems. if your going on a trip be prepared.
