PIAA Bulbs suck.
I am another one who replaced all the bulbs with Piaas Platinum Super whites. (Quad sport lights). Cost me over 160 dollars too. Well four months after the purchase a low beam went out. Said screw it and bought a Silverstar to replace it. In my truck the Silverstar was brighter than the Piaa and that was a direct comparison being that the passenger was a Silverstar and the driver was a Piaa. Now about another four months and the other low beam Piaa went out. So obviously I bought the Silverstar for that side too. This is not my first bad run with Piaas either. Had a Cherokee that I bought those aftermarket lamps that take H4 bulbs. Bought the Piaa super whites for those too. Well, didn't get 5 months out of either side so I canned them and bought some IPF bulbs. I personally will NEVER buy another Piaa Super White bulb again. Of four sets, (8 bulbs), 2 are still going but they are my high beams so they are hardly used and 1 lasted 8 months. The other 5 lasted under 5 months.
My luck with bulbs has in no way carried over the the lights though. I still think Piaa makes the best aftermarket light assemblies out there.
