Sylvania Silverstar

Well I just had to try them. I had the cool blues before these and there is a difference with the silverstars. Try em and you'll see. I think they were 24. 00 and some change at advance auto parts. I went ahead and got me two new headlamp assy. from headlight warehouse they were eagle eye brand I think are made in Tawain(sp). They were easy to get out but the lh side was he** to get in. I guess I got lucky cause I did not have to adjust them.

silverstars

i've looked at the silverstars a couple of times. i have the sport headlights, and i've been a bit shy about spending $100 for light bulbs. i guess the only way i'll know is to buy a set... ..... maybe down the road.

Hate to sound stupid,but here goes,what are silverstars?are they like those real bright white headlights you see in lexus,bmw ect. where do you get them?Mike

Silverstars are just a new bulb they came out with like the cool blues. I got mine at Advance Auto Parts. They have a whiter light. Here are the bulbs http://www.sylvania.com/auto/silverstar.htm and you can see for yourself.

Great info lschultz, I'll give those a try next time. I'm running cool-blues right now even though I know they aren't the best. What sold me on the blues was when I noticed approaching cars with them didn't blind me. I have no problem seeing with the blues and like the fact that a car coming towards me isn't blinded so much that it crosses the lane into me. The cool blues in combo with yellow foglites work excellent.
