Edge w/ attitude & Fuel pressure?

I have a 1999 Cummins with 129,000 miles. At 120,000 I started to use Amsoil after reading about the product. At 125,000 miles the oil level was down 2qts. at 129,000 it was down another qt. Is this normal for synthetic oil

Are you checking your oil after your truck has been running? Synthetic oil is known for staying up in the engine which would give you a reading of being low on the stick. Need to check the oil after it has sat for at least 5 hours. Good luck

Yep I second JH. I check mine before I my first start of the day. If I run the truck and then check it always read about 1 qt low. Let it sit for a while and it is back to full. This is with Amsoil HDD 15/40

For some strange reason the first time you switch over sometimes you can loose more than normal, but the next time you will be fine. Happened to me on every vehicle I switched over. Figure that one out. And yes, check it cold or you will read low, the oil does stay up in the engine longer.
