T bolt clamps

On my way home from work on a back road in the middle of nowhere, BOOM, truck lost power and to the shoulder I go. Intercooler boot blew off of intake. Clamp was still under the hood. This is the second T bolt clamp that has broke on me, both right at the spot welds.

Change them to the spring loaded constant tension style. I'll get some pictures in a bit.

Is that 4"??? Can't remember.....

That’s what I did. I got 3.5” spring clamps.

Those should last a lot better.
