Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) T-case grindage

Allright guys, tried to put my truck in 4L tonight, couldnt get the damn thing to go in! Each time I would try it would just grind the pee out of the gears Trans in N wouldnt go in, will go in 4 High just fine. Ive used Low range before but no grinding! Any advice, or similar experience?? Appreciated

Don't get mad, but you were stopped weren't you? Try putting the transmission in park then shift out of 2wd into 4Lo.
