No Fuel PSI?? it must be the fuel pump, so ill buy 2

Is there any periodic maintenance neccessary for a T-case? Mine makes a lot of noise. It's nothing new, the noise that is. It seems to have gotten louder over time though. It's the normal noise that everyone attributes to the NV5600 but I've always though it's the T-case because if you move things slowly with the truck jacked up, it makes the same noise at the T-case, only slower. Anyways, is there any preventative maintenance such as bearing or whatever I should be thinking about?

The T-case on my '01 started popping out of 2HI at around 129K miles. Not a lot of fun having the truck try to jump out of it's shoes going down the freeway. That was most likely because I didn't change the fluid for the first 106K. I've learned that lesson.

Only thing that I do is change the oil in it every 2 years. I use amsoil universal ATF and have never had a problem. Other than that I dont think that there is any other maintenance to do on them, only repair LOL. Is it noisy only while engaged in 4hi/lo or all the time?

Mine does not make any noise disengegd and very minimal noise/vibration while in 4hi/lo, but I think that has more to do with the front axles being powered instead of the actual trans case.

Hope this helps

I change the oil in mine every 50k... I use Royal Purple synchromesh in mine, it seems to work as well or better than ATF (easier to shift into all gear ranges).

I can tell when my tcase needs changed, it starts getting a little whine in it.

I agree with the others, I only change the oil in the case. First time was 40k, then I did it again 24k later (don't know why).

At both changes, the old fluid looked like brand-new ATF. I don't think the transfer case is very "hard" on fluid.

Service manual for 2003 says every 60k.
