After about 12,000 miles with the 275's and the ez I have decided it is time. I have 42,000 miles on it with some pretty good loads pulled. Will be looking hard this week to check the market. I guess it's time to rob the rathole and spend more $. Hey after this I might could get some DD11's. Oh well I guess it never stops.

Okie

I had to do the same thing because "my truck is a stud" I got a Southbend con ofe from Piers, install was OK and I am now a proud non-slipping dude:D Kevin

I too give a BIG thumbs up to Peter & SouthBend.

I have had the Con-OFE in for about 1000 miles now. It took me awhile to get used to the way it graps over the stock clutch but now that "got the feel" for it I love it. I probably should explain... The factory clutch didn't engage untill the pedal was almost completely out. If you put any presure at all on the pedal I could slip the clutch. The con-ofe grabs at about 1/2 stroke on the pedal. It took me about 3 weeks to "retrain" my left & right foot timeing to be able to pull out without allot of chatter. Peter & I had a good discussion a week ago and he was more than willing to send me a new clutch if I wasn't comfortable with the first one but after talking we decided that I should continue trying for another week and change my driving habits a little. Apparently there was allot of slippage in the factory clutch that I had come to except as normal over the years and now that I have a clutch that actually grabs it just took some retraining on my part.

So anyhow, If you need a clutch do yorself a big favor and give Peter a call. You won't regrete it. Oo.

I will give him a call the first of the week. I am pert near certain that is the one I want. I did get an e-mail from him and quick too. Have to wait till they open on Monday. A stainless steel chicken slide is a wing from taylor. It diverts air over the trailer. I was told it got that name cause a guy had one on a truck and he woke up and saw chickens on his rig taking turns sliding down it. Don't know for sure but that is what I was told.

Okie,

10am tomorrow my South bend con-fe goes in Oo.

We will see how it drives but I am sure it will be awsome :D
