Had a T.P.M.S. warning come up, come to find out I had a sensor that gave up. Les Schwab Tire advised me the sensors have a limited lifespan. The generally last around 5 years and the battery is not replaceable nor can they be repaired. $58.88 cost of replacement. I found a 4 pack of Mopar O.E. sensors on ebay for $45 and some change. My question is if they sit on the shelf without being used will the batteries discharge?
Thanks for your feedback,
Scotty

No, they switch off without movement, only small stand by.
I bought mine from Rockauto, best price i found.
Change all 4 at a time, the other three will follow in a short time.

Thanks Ozymandias - Great information. As with all the great conveinances these trucks have, eventually they will need to be fixed or replaced. Being a DYI guy, I am learning a lot about these trucks, and saving money at the same time.

It is great to be able to go to a awesome forum like this to gain knowledge from folks who have been experienced the same issues you have. Thanks to all,
Scotty
