This topic was briefly tapped into, but never produced a pic to see. Does anyone have a picture of the custom Dodge T-Rex Weld Racing wheels with the Toyo 35x12. 5x18 tires installed on their truck? I'm very seriously thinking of purchasing a set, but would really like to see them installed first. Any pictures out there???

Thx

Based on that picture it looks like the front stick out a little, after all the hype about this being the only wheel made for the Dodge I would think T-Rex would have some decent pictures or at least specs on the wheel.

Here's a link to a thorough discussion on it, including Kent's response on spec's. Go to post #15. There maybe more after that, I didn't feel like doing your work searching. :D https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106471&highlight=weld+wheel+offset

Yes, he probably ought to have a section on his site with 3 or 4 pic's and the specs so guys can look down the line at the truck and see what they're getting.

I saw his truck at the "Festival in the Foothills" in so cal this year. I already had the suspension on, and couldn't be happier with it. If you want to know what the wheels look like as far as wheels sticking out, find yourself a truck with 315's on it, and that's what you'll have. That's what's on my truck, and the profile is next to identical. The tire looks like it sticks out because it's a wider tire than stock, but it'll be like the 315's you see. I'm happy with those in terms of size and profile, and how they sit under the truck. As far as why I think they're worth it, I like the clearance the 18" wheels give you from the brake calipers. If I hit something down south, I'd like to know I'm not skeeroo'd if I catch a corner of the rim. My ride and towing with the BFG's I have is excellent.

Pic's don't do it justice either... not even close. The wheel is reeeeeaall nice. I didn't want to do 3400 for the change out after just buying my truck at the time, so personally, I'm waiting to run my 315's down a ways, and then will buy a set... but trust me brotha... pic's don't do it justice

I saw that thread back in July, I am just surprised they do not have more info on thier web site about the wheels with good close up pictures, and specs, I also wouldl like to see how the center cap attaches to the center bore and the wheel still is hub centric. The lack of information seems especially strange when susposedly t rex laid out huge money to have these wheels made, I would think they would have tons of info on them and be trying to sell them.

Toyo has a rebate on their tires, Called the Great American Cash Back Sweepstakes. You can get up to $125. 00 back va the rebate and get registered to win a Ford F-150, hey what else could you ask for.
