Would those #'s be the same for a '97? Did you measure the backspacing on your wheels?

everything will work from 94 on up to 02. you only have to ask for the complete kit for the 98 or 99 heavy duty set up. I cant remember my back spacing on these 17's but they do stick out that is why I have the fender flares. stock rims will rub but the ends can be ground down. this member just did this with success.

Yea glad we got that out. Hope it helps someone else.

DIESELWRKS, Cummins98, RShea and others everything you said pointed to tie rods interchangeable on these models so it oughta work on my 94 but a lot of parts lists claimed other wise. But you got me determined and so I crawled through parts lists on Rock Auto, NAPA etc and found fit to be the same although they had much conflicting information about the 94's. Some of the after market people were the most misleading. The track bar is another story for pre 2/7/94 trucks though.

But it is a fact. 92-2002 accept the same tie rods. Just take your wheels into consideration, mine are the 2002 stock 16x8" aluminum ones, --- choose among several easy damper bolt ons and get with it.

dont know the year of your truck. but my 02 I bought a new 02 upper drag. everything else was from the 98-99 Heavy Duty pieces.

nope the ends are the same they are a tapered bolt. the only kit I think that you have to drill out your knuckles would be Theren's kit I think his is 3/4 to drill out. there may be others out there too.

That's good to know. I'll be using the 99 set-up.

Do I need part # ES 3527/Tie Rod at pitman arm, since my truck is an 2001. The part # show that the part fits 2000-02. Thanks Bunyan

no I kept what I had for the upper piece that connects to the pitman. the sleeve that you need is the sleeve in the parts list.
