Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Tab installed(no movement)

Had the kdp tab installed today. There was no movement and no bolts loose. They were closing when i picked it up, on the way home it would not go into overdrive at the normal 45 but tried to at about 55 and then it went in and out . I had to get home in overdrive off mode. The rpm needle is very erratic. Thanks RJ

It sounds to me like the gap for the sensor above the crank pully is wrong. It should be about . 050" I think. Use a non-magnetic feeler gage. Also check the connector for the sensor. It might be dirty or loose.

Check your TPS. . I had the same problem
