Anyone added an intercooler to your 89-90?

Just got my truck back on Friday after having a few toys added. Now it seems that my tach is only registering one-half the actual rpms. I am assuming that the problem is one of the magnets flew the coop. Is there a more permanent method for mounting the magnets? (The guy at the shop said he "crazy glued" them on with a Loctite product. )
Thanks.

At least your is working somewhat. I had one put in about 8 months ago and it still is not working. My 93 is supposed to have a lead available to hook up to a tach but it doesn't work. I finally had the company send me the magnet pick up kit but have not got around to installing yet. I'll be watching this post to see if anyone has an answere to your problem.

Doug,
I'm using the glued magnet deal also, and the only thing i found that would hold (over a year now ) devco 24 hr epoxie, the 24 hour stuff is the only epoxy thats water proof and stand up to heat well, sand the 2 areas first with a course grit sand paper, and stick the magnets on with a big blob of epoxie under and ontop, then when it dries put another coat around the edges, it's not pretty but it's held ... ... ... ...
