Does anybody know if this will work on our engines?

I put in a bid on it, so PLEASE dont run the price up on me.

I figure if I get it cheap enough, I'd try it anyway.

I've been looking for one of these for my 1st gen.

Was that you that won the first one you were talking about? I saw the signature of the winner and it sounds like it could be you. If it was, keep us informed on how the install works.

Yea, I got the first one.

I'll let you know how it works out.

I looked it up in a search engine before I bid on it, and it sounds like an easy install. It can run off the flywheel (counts the teeth pulse) alternator, or just about anything that moves on the engine.

BTW, does anyone know how many poles we have in the alternators?
