Tacoma dyno confirmation for Feb

Since this shop has a 15 truck minimum to make a dyno day, I need those of you who are dynoing to post a definite 'yes' so I can keep track and give them a positive number (on the flip side, they said about a 22 maximum). I'm only up to 8 so far.

The trucks to heavy to race now 7875lbs.

I need to start looking at other ways to compete like dyno or sled pulling. All you guys with the light weight dodges are kickin my butt in the 1/4 now. I can't beleive that there is 4x4's that weigh as little as 6300lbs.



For those who are wondering where all the weight came from my sub box is 450lbs.

how many sheets of 3/4 MDF did you use in that thing?

I didn't build the box so I can't really say but it does go from the front of the truck under the dash to the rear seats. With 5 layers of fiberglass. It also has several reinforcement throughout the box, with a thick plexiglass DTT logo. Only downside is it's now a 4 seater.

We figure that it will hit around 142 with the current set-up, but I will be adding sub approx. 8-12's for a total of 10. My end goal is 150. Just need more money. I'm going to add the other subs in the bed. The box is still under construction and the truck reeks like fiberglass. . By the time we go to the show I want to have the box done. For those wondering why I'm going with such a big sterio the reason is that they are going to be featureing my truck in a car audio magazine so the audio company that's doing the install is giving me killer pricing.
