Welcome

Welcome to the TDR, RHamby. Alot of good people here and even better advice. As far as which one to go with, i have the AFE but don't have the TAG (yet). Decisions, Decisions,... Let the Bombing begin... :D

Hell I Put them both in mine on Friday. I find i dont need as much pedal to get to speed and the shifting of the auto seems a bit smoother. It could be in my head though? Cant wait to put a full tank and check the mileage. And she a lot peppier when i put my foot down. Love both so far. Install took about 1. 5 hours.

AIR in FIRST. Then Exhaust. I'm not sold on a TAG yet. I would do these, gauges and a BOX before I spent money on a Tag. Just my opinion.

Not answering your question but I recommend gauges first - gives you a base line from which to measure any mods that follow.

Welcome & good luck!

Tag install

A TAG would be a good starter. Easy to install.

After that, guages would be in order next.

I think money spent on gages,air-box and exhaust a lot more worth wild then a tag. Just my opinion. But those will give a more seat of the pants feel.

Just installed the TAG

Just put the TAG in and didn't notice anything new. The AFE is on the way so maybe the two of them will show an improvement. I made one quick test drive (25 miles) with the TAG in and was hoping to feel the difference. No opinion on it yet so it will stay in for now. Towing might be where it performs.

I have both a TAG and Afe cold air system as well as a VanAakins box. on my truck.

I think the tag is worth it . . it almost elimanates the turbo wine (which increses with the addition of the Afe )

I also found a increse in low end gruntwith the TAG
