Powermax3 Question

I just ordered one several hours ago. Things I have read about it have been favorable. I will see what it does to mine.

'bout ready to order one

I've got about 25,000 miles of towing (45,000 total) on the truck right now and have kept a good track record of the fuel usage. The towing mileage is about 12. 4 mpg but it can go down fast with any kind of head/cross winds. Coming back from Mexico last week we ran into two straight days of head winds and the mileage went down to 11 mpg. I've also got over 14 mpg with a tail wind.

The TAG is supposed to shine when pulling a load so we're going to find out. I'll put the TAG on in Texas and head back to Idaho in early March.

I'll let everyone know what it does.

I em TAGed now for 2 weeks, so far I like results. Less pushing on gas pedal to keep speed, faster spooling, no more noise in cabin from scotty II which is a biggest plus for me. I can't say to much about mileage or towing with TAG yet, but otherwise I like it.

Go to 2nd Generation - 24 Valve, Engine & Transmission section.

Scroll to "TAG Report" thread started by Dark Horse regarding same subject. Presently on pg 2 - lots of info there.

This was my 1st drive of any distance since putting it on. Somethings definately different ... better. I think the truck wants to go faster, easier. With the same pedal, more speed. It seems like I was always backing out.

Can that be right?

Just flipped mine around so that more hose connects to the 40.
