I have been blowing the incab fuse (15 amp) to the tail and corner lights (essentially the parking lights. Brake lights and directional are unaffected. It only blows while moving, so I assume it's a grounded wire that only contacts while moving. It doesn't matter if the parking lights are one or the headlights. I have replaced the headlight switch, disconnected the tag lights, and tugged on every wire I could reach. I welcome any recommendations, as this has been going on for a while. My next step is replace the fuse with a paperclip and see where the fire starts.

I think that circuit is also tied to your trailer wiring, but I'm not sure. If so, I had ONE STRAND of a wire in my trailer connector that had separated and was contacting another wire that caused me all kinds of trouble. I'd say check your trailer connector good.

Thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that I unplugged the trailer harness from the back of the receptacle. I will recheck the harness for chafed wires. Thank you.

I had a similar issue once. I spent a couple days with the wire diagrams and a multimeter checking circuits. Mine was a splice buried in a wire harness under the hood. Once I identified the circuit I wired around it. No way was I going to unwrap the harness and dig for the wire.
